sega saturn x
I'm on the final stage and the castle seems to be looping endlessly in spots. Is this right or is it a glitch? Thanks in advance.

No it is playing normally. You are the one going in circles. Do a little exploring and you will find the path that you are missing. I could tell you how to go but what is the fun in that. If you are really stuck just go to gamefaqs.com

keilbaca
Ok so it isn't broken, just frustrating. They did the same shit with the last castle on the 1st SMB. Just figure it out, you'll feel great about it when you figure it out.

moycon
When I was a kid we didn't have cheats or walkthroughs. We had to figure it out ourselves or die trying!! Sometimes we'd play so long and so hard our fingers would bleed and our eyes would dry out!!! Heh, These days I'm notorious for looking up the FAQ on IGN. I will admit when you do figure a game out by yourself there is a great sense of accomplishment. Hopefully you can work through this sega saturn x. JB
The original Super Mario had a chime to tell you if you were on the right path, though. I assume New doesn't?
Mayhem
Oh it does have the chimes, you just have to know to listen for them
