TheBman80
This took me the entire month of September to finish its now in the basement. It still needs side art but I haven’t got around to getting the money for it yet. I even repainted the pinstripes on the sides of the cabinet forgot to take a picture though before I brought it in the house. I originally bought it for $100 and put maybe another $100 into it for paint and sand paper and like $50 for the CP overlay and like $9 for each joystick. All that plus a few bucks for new castors on the bottom of the cabinet I think I spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $275 maybe a little over $300 after I get side art. As you can see from the pictures there was some really bad water damage to the cabinet it took a lot of time and effort but I bought it back to life again. It was really a big job but Contra is like one of my all time favorite arcade games so it was worth it to me to do it.
Crazy Climber
Looks good man I'm a Contra fan myself and have almost bought one on a few occasions. It's also a vertical Jamma 2 button so you could throw a Multi-JAMMA board in there in addition to Contra I notice you have a Neo-Geo back there as well. I just bought one myself, what do you think of it?
TheBman80
Well I like the Metal slug series a lot I have Metal Slug 2 for it and played the others on MAME and I really want the rest of them. I have Samurai Showdown 1 and 2, ninja combat (corny but fun) and Baseball Stars. I have another Neo Geo unit that I restored that one in the picture I just bought and brought it into the house the control panel needs to be repainted. I hope to sell the one I restored at some point but have had no luck on eBay with it I have 2 games with that one World Heroes 2 and Art of Fighting 2. Oh that one in the picture has a 4 slot board in it now I really like that feature I still need a memory card hook up to finish it up but I have no memory card yet so I'm in no hurry.
