Recycling an old question

Hi,

 

All this chat about emulation recently reminded me -

Are there any projects on the go to bring a DTV A8 to be a reality one day?

 

1) Or are we just a bit fussy that the current level of emulation (e.g. of video and sound)

is just 'not quite there yet' and so people hold of on this?

 

2) Or perhaps we'd never decide on the titles to be on it - which leads to:

a) potential licencing issues with this

b) design moves to something that permits 'downloading' other titles to it.

 

3) Something else perhaps?

 

For 2b - I guess people are better off with PDAs/PSP/GP2X etc ?

 

Interested to here others opinions on this.
