anyone remember this...need name of it

it was advertised in all my old comics and game mags back in the late 80s. it was a full-size arcade cab that you could set your NES in to play games as if they were an arcade game. i even think you used an arcade style joystick and buttons to play. what was it called? what was the retail price?

HAHA well if there is a way to get measurements the cabinet would be really easy to make. I’m sure there is tons of stuff on the net on how to hack NES controllers to hook them up to arcade buttons. I mean look at the back of the thing it’s a really simple design.

That is my ProPlay referenced and pictured above. There are a few more pictures of just how basic it really is shown on my site.

 

I can take and provide whatever measurements would be needed if people want to clone the cabinet.

 

Yes, I'd love to see the information on how to hack the NES controller in the event one of mine ever bites the dust.

 

I have a 5 year old and twin 3 year olds. The cabinet gets a lot of (ab)use.
