i'm crazy ? perharps... :D

Did I see a 260ST there?

Here's my recent Ebay purchase:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180382698386

It was meant to be used with Atari for I/O server purposes (so LCD wasn't needed), but it came password protected (although not listed as such). It's clock wasn't set (error 0271) but I can't set it since there's password needed to get into BIOS. Then the hard-drive is password protected as well. Even if I remove it and put it in another machine, it's still password protected so looks like password is encoded in the hard-drive.

Anyone, know how to bypass Thinkpad passwords-- perhaps some ATMEL2ATARI cable to read the FLASH data or something or reFLASH the BIOS...

I reckon I can fix this one up:

130XE for spares and repairs

I thought it would be useful for parts if nothing else. I stuck a £15 bid on and won it while I was out gigging last night. I wanted to try an non-SuperVideo 130XE though the LCD TV to compare the vertical banding problem, too.

Even a complete idiot knows that bidding on anything on ebay before the last 30 seconds of an auction is just uselessly raising the price..

If you really want something, wait until the last 10 seconds, and bid the highest amount you are willing to pay (provided others havent already bid more than its worth, in which case, you don't want it anywayze.)

Those guys arent jerks.. They are just experienced Ebay buyers..

Here is my latest acquisition:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...%3D1&_rdc=1

Unfortunately good old USPS beat up the box in transit pretty bad. The Atari 800 case was cracked and the door hinge completely busted. Luckily I purchased the insurance. Now waiting on USPS to buy me a new Atari 800 (wishful thinking)!

Wow. you got an awesome deal on that lot..

Too bad about the 800, but the 400 is actually more dsirable, considering the keyboard & 64k upgrades.

You can easily find another 800. They have been selling pretty cheap lately..

That 400 is worth the $60.00 by itself..

These are my two most recent Atari 8-bit ebay purchases:

Spectravideo Gold Mine box & manual

Gebelli Firebird complete in box

I already have the Gold Mine cartridge, so the auction with the box & manual was perfect for me. Although that may seem like alot to pay for a box, it went for less than I expected. I think some people were reluctant to bid since the cartridge was not included. If it would have had the cartridge included then I think this auction would have sold for at least $150 to $200 or more. So I think I got a pretty decent deal and now my Gold Mine will be complete.
