A hundred bucks ?

Understandable I guess from a collecting point but not from a practical one.

You could get an IDE Plus 2 for XL/XE, which also has RTC and have change left over to buy a HDD or SD card adaptor.

yeah, but that doesnt work in an 800, which is Fibrewire's main interest... i think its great he is buy some of this to reproduce

But on the 800 what DOS supports time stamps beside SpartaDOS? SD 1.x is rather limited in its abilities, and SDX is limited in RAM unless you have a Axlon etc...

Either way, congrats FW, on the cool find...

sloopy.

wasn't me...

About the clock card: I wasn't interested in it when it first surfaced here a few months ago. But when it was listed on ebay, something showed up in the picture that didn't in earlier pics - the words "Intec Peripherials Corp"

As for the buyer of the Bit 3, only the initials "Y.H." show up as the real name of the winner. Do we know a Y***** H***** ?

I think this thread is a hint of who it was.....

The Bit 3 Full-View 80 was the first 80 Column card made for the Atari......

..

..

..

Hopefully enough people here have used one, that we can put together a good, centralized source of info for this device.

I envy the Unixcoffee.

ATARI SERVICE BANNER

http://rhodblog.wordpress.com/2011/07/13/nouveaute-atari-banniere-atari-service/

Arggg! So it was you who won that auction. :( :)

It is pretty cool. My dream is to eventually find some old guy that used to have a service center and still has a whole bunch of stuff like that packed in boxes. I got to dream. :)

Keep up with the great pics, Rhod. Love looking at your site.

Having watched Atari stuff on ebay for the past few years, I've noticed a real upward trend in the prices of software and peripherals. I remember the days when you couldn't give a cassette drive away and now it's getting difficult to win a 1010 cheaply. Boxed A8 software seems to be heading toward original retail prices too.

I really did not win this auction

she ended the night for us in France

I set my max, and I expected no miracles

hey often go to 80$/100$ or more

I put $ 75, and I won $ 46

happy

I just have to find the blue banner

;)

Yeah I'm kinda bummed... I would have paid that much, but figured it would go way higher and just ignored it :(
