Virtual Boy kind of day

Well, it finally happened. Mom got a dog. It's a black dog that had been at the Humane Society for a long time. I wanted the dog to have some weird name, something that begins with the letter X, like Xenia. Mom of course (who wanted the dog. I don't like dogs.) compromised a little and named it Zoe. The cat doesn't seem to mind all that much, though, I thought she'd be hiding under the bed a lot. She's on the couch. Up high I guess so the dog won't get her. Of course, the dog wouldn't get her, but cats think that way. They protect themselves. Anyway, I worked some more on Insecticide today. It was the first time I've worked on it since Hyper Fighting was released. I don't understand why it wouldn't work on an emulator (Hyper Fighting), which is why I haven't tested it out yet. I made the arenas in Insecticide larger. Didn't add new characters today since it took me at least 3 or 4 hours to make the 4 arenas larger and not look crappy. And I got a package in the mail today. In it was Vertical Force, Teleroboxer and Red Alarm for the Virtual Boy, Japanese editions. I have the American ones, so I thought why not get the Japanese ones as well, since I have some more Japanese VB games I never play since I can't read Japanese. I never knew there were plastic protective cases for the boxes, though. I need to find out where he got those and get me some. So I guess Mom is happy with her new dog. And the cat doesn't seem to mind, either. But this means I have to get up early tomorrow morning and be with the dog while Mom's out all day. She does get Labor Day off, though, so that's good, I guess. More time to be with the dog while Zoe gets used to the place and then when Mom goes back to work Tuesday, the dog can be with me and the cat. I probably won't be able to go in my room much, luckily there's another computer in the den, the one I use to make Insecticide, so I can work on that one and watch the dog at the same time and not be locked up in my room.
