All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Am working on Jack and the Beanstalk for the PS1. Am at a good stopping point now though. I need some questions answered so I posted in the almost dead PSX-Dev forums. As it turns out, I need to name stuff different from the h file than what variable is in the h file. Now that I know that, I think I can keep on doing this. I'm running out of room so I asked what I can do to make more room for all my images. Anyway, even after a year, it's not a game quite yet. Just the bird flying on the title screen and a lousy quiet intro. I wonder why they made PSX development so friggin hard! I guess one needs a mind for it and even though I can do VB just fine, I don't have a mind for PS1 programming? Anyway, if the game ever gets finished (if it does, I'll probably finish it at age 80. Hey, Ralph Baer lived to 92, so it could happen) I want to put all the contents on a DVD disc and make a cover for it and stuff. That would be groovy. But I bet if I'm 80 it would be about 50 years later, and I don't know if there will still be any PS1 emulator to play the game on 50 years from now. So anyway, if you want to try the "game" out, go to the "game"'s webpage here at http://www.atari2600land.com/jackandthebeanstalk/ and see what you think. And once I've got these problems figured out, I can then ask them about collision detection. here is a picture of the "game" in action:
