Hi. Perhaps Comcast isn't as evil as I thought it was. 2 new channels have come to the Salem Oregon area. The first one is channel 72, WGN. This is a bit weird since it has been on McMinnville's Comcast line-up, but never Salem's. Perhaps Chicago or the network had a major beef with Salem, because it had never been on the cable line-up here ever since WGN went on the air nationally. And the second surprise is on channel 318. KWVT, the local station Comcast ignored ever since it went on the air back in 2006, is on Comcast now. I e-mailed the guy who runs it to tell him. That's how local the local network is. So this is a very odd surprise, and just in time for Christmas. So we'll see if the channels stay for good or if it is a fluke. I'm going to Comcast's website and check the lineup to see if these two additions show up.
