Summer Plumber part 6
I had it in my head that I wanted it to be similar to Mario Bros. in that you'd need to hit him from above to just stun him and then go up and kick him to make it disappear and score points. Easier said than done. I had spent a few hours trying to do this. I had a semi-working one when I said it couldn't be done and deleted it. I went back to work on it a few hours ago and came up with a version that makes you do this. It took a few false starts, but I finally think I did it. It took a bit of code moving, and other stupid things I had to do. Surprisingly, it only took about 40 bytes to put in this change.So now I've used up 1,789 bytes out of my allotted 2,048. I thought about changing the goomba to a turtle like in Mario Bros. But I couldn't get one working so I didn't. The crab should be fairly easy to program in his walking movements. It'd be similar to the goomba. But I'd need some more extra room and a couple new variables (I'd name them enemytype and enemyhitcounter) in order to do so. But I'm sick of programming this game. I can't seem to stop programming it, though.
