Who knew the code for changing the snake's color would be in the score code? Since I don't have a score, it wasn't making the color right, and the default color was green. So that was the key to it. I'm guessing though I can't have a green background. I thought I had a green background earlier, but I guess I was dreaming or something. Or perhaps it got changed since I changed the score color. So I made the score code's x position off screen so it wouldn't show up on screen. And now I have a red snake on a white background.
I have been even more sleepy than usual. Went to sleep at 1 AM and woke up periodically and didn't get up for good until about 8 PM. Just laughing about the Channel F box. It has a quote about it having "full color". I think full color would include yellow.
