black and white burgers (part 17)
Added in level 6: The city.
These backgrounds take at least 10 or so tries to get right. I put in one and see how it looks, then if it shows graphics glitches, I tone down the amount of light gray I have in it. I don't know why, but having too much light gray increases the glitches. Except for in level 1, which is really odd. This is downtown somewhere where there's a metropolis near a bunch of mountains. Portland? Denver? Take your pick. I especially like the way the mountain in the background looks.
Next on the game's to-do list is make a new food item the milkshakes can use as a weapon for level 7. And after that, think of another one to get introduced in level 9. And level 10 will be the final level, inside a castle. So I'm like half-way done at this point. The game engine is almost completed, I can add in new levels and see how they look with all me needing to do is insert the level graphics data.
