black and white burgers (part 19)
I was asleep all day and all night yesterday. So I said to myself even though I was really sleepy that I needed to force myself to stay awake. I don't know why I am so sleepy. Anyway, while forcing myself to stay awake even though there really isn't much to do at 12 a.m. except watch TV, eat, and go on the internet, to work on the Burgers game again. I thought of something last night I could use as a junk food item for the milkshakes to shoot out: Popcorn. But as it turns out, popcorn is really hard to draw, even though you'd think it'd be easy. Nope. This is my first attempt:
I added a little butter to the popcorn. And I made it so popcorn always goes up. Here's what I have so far:
onion ring - shoots forward
nacho - shoots downward
pretzel - follows your y movement
popcorn - shoots upward.
I just thought of something evil I could do. Make the fifth projectile be a randomly chosen shooting style. Since I have four of them, and four is a nice round number (in computer terms). Well, hey, games are supposed to get hard right near the end, right? And this fifth projectile is only going to be around for levels 9 and 10 anyway. I need to think about what it could be, though. And before that, I really need to start drawing level 7. And I need to think about where level 7 is. I already have these:
level 1 - clouds
level 2 - outer space
level 3 - snow
level 4 - desert
level 5 - underwater
level 6 - city
If you have an idea for and want to help drawing a background, they're 256 pixels long and 120 pixels high. And keep in mind that not all of your picture will be visible at one time because it scrolls. I would like to add a jungle at one point, but my drawing skills are limited. As an example, I attached level 5's background file. Oh, and feel free to redesign my popcorn.
