Colors
So I bought a copy of Qix for the 5200 on eBay. This one comes with a box. I'm not too keen on buying games with boxes, but I figured I might as well get at least ONE boxed 5200 game. I jsut now finished working for an hour and a half colorizing my comics that were originally black and white. There were 9 total. I think they look much better than they were in shades of black and white. I don't know what I was thinking. Colored stuff is much better than black and white. Except in the case of Game Boy stuff. I am taking a little break from Frank the Fruit Fly since I have been working too hard on video game stuff these past few days. I also made the sheet music more refined. The printer didn't want to print out the title, but it printed out the sheet music just fine. So I checked the ink levels and it said the black ink was almost full, so I don't know.
I also replaced the text in the speech balloons with typed up text. I have a method for doing these comics.
- I draw them on one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper.
- I scan them with the scanner.
- I go into Photoshop, and reduce the size to 15% (It's huge!)
- I check "Indexed Color" with four shades of gray.
- I change the shades to gray to black.
- I then change it to "RGB Color" and color the comic.
- I change my handwriting with text, font Arial of different sizes as the comic warrants.
Lots of work, but I think they look a lot better now than they did.
