It's done.

After playing and testing and stuff Sunday night and this morning I think I got all the bugs fixed and I'm calling Ugly Uppity Umpire completed and finished. Now I'd like for someone to publish this for me, but I doubt anyone will. I worked on this for about a year off-and-on.

I tested this on a real Super Game Boy and I can't get rid of the black screen for a few frames when it powers up due to the fact that the PAL SNES needs four frames to wait for the Super Game Boy border to load. I guess I could make separate GB files, one NTSC and one PAL, but I don't know how feasible that would be. Plus, it's nice that they're both on one GB file. I have a couple of programs I could work on. My History Teacher Ate Lemons for the INTV is one, Golf 2600 is another.

I couldn't get to sleep until 2 a.m. last night. I woke up at about 1 p.m. I was working on my CD album when I realized the Beach Boys already had an album named "Sunflower." So I had to change its name.

Through trial and error I discovered that I should make the CD cover art 456x456 pixels for the front and 567x456 for the back, so that the sides fold inwards. How I usually think of a song is by playing around with chords on a piano. When I find a few I like I then attempt to build a melody around them. I've got 6 songs so far. Just stuff I do when I get super bored and don't want to work very hard on any coding. I named one song "I Don't Know," which I thought was funny, until, again, those Beach Boys thought up a song 60 years ago called "God Only Knows." Well, I'll be keeping my title, since, even though the meaning is the same, they're different titles.
