Game gear stuff
So I discovered a bug in Yum! that caused me to give up on it.
I turned my eyes back on Flying Hamburgers. I made a new background for level 4. I'm not sure it's clear where it takes place. So I'm asking you, where do you think this is taking place?
I liked the music for levels 1 and 2. I made some new music for level 4. Now the music for level 3 (desert) seems out of place. I am wondering if I could make cool-sounding desert music.
I am hoping to make this the best game in the Hamburgers Game Gear series. I made 1 and 2, but I didn't like them very much. Now I am taking the time and steps to make sure I have a game I like and would like to play if I ever get bored and want to play the Game Gear.
It's 128 KB so far. From a developing stand point, I'm learning a certain assembly (I don't know which one) for Game Gear programming, but Game Boy programming is easier since I can just use C. Both consoles have apps where you can put in pictures and it can spit out code to put in the game, but I like Game Gear better since it's in color. Sure, Game Boy Color is in color, but I don't think I could recreate, say, the screenshot above on it.
While I'm on the subject, I don't know if I should have an ending or make it loop forever.
