My new monitor never came.

I ordered a new monitor because mine broke on Amazon yesterday and it said it would come today but it never did. I have been using the computer in my room since I discovered I could hook up my TV to my computer and use that like a monitor, but I have to look back and forth as I type and it's really dumb. It seems kind of suspicious it never came since a.) they told me it would come today, and b.) there's this huge warehouse just outside of town that I'm guessing would have stuff like that but I guess not.

Even so, I managed to work on a couple of projects: Making Frank the Fruit Fly 2 look better was one.

I went for a walk. On my way back home, some guy accosted me. I guess he thought I didn't live here. He asked me why I was wandering around. I told him I was going on a walk. We do have people from outside the community come in and walk around, but I live in it. It's sort of like a gated community here, but without a gate. Actually, I don't know what his problem was. But I don't really want to go for a walk anymore. Well, why else would I be wandering around if I wasn't going for a walk? I don't know.

My monitor came about an hour ago. I set it up. It looks very nice. I figured from the box I got it would be huge, but it's just the right size for me.

Hm, yes. Maybe I should buy myself another monitor too. I'm currently using one 22" VGA monitor + one 24" flat screen TV that however doesn't do as high resolutions as the monitor. If I get another dedicated monitor, I can use the TV entirely as a TV. Perhaps I can get an USB connected TV (the ones we have at work seem to be connected by USB rather than HDMI) though I'm not sure the built-in graphics card on my PC supports more than two devices anyway. I'd have to look that up before.

If it doesn't natively support it, there's always the usb-c monitor protocol. Many, verging on most computers less than 2 years old support the use of a $10 USB hub with an integrated HDMI port.
