So I got bored. I decided to make a piece of music. But not just your ordinary piece of music. Think "Thick As a Brick" crossed with "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." I've composed ten minutes worth of music so far and I haven't even gotten to the first verse yet.

I decided to break the song up into segments. Which sounds really crappy because there's this tiny, yet VERY NOTICEABLE speck of silence between parts 1 and 2. I downloaded a tool that I found called MPTrim, which I hope will help and that it's just Windows Media Player sucking hard.

The name of the song is "jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz." It has every letter of the alphabet in it. Much like "The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog."

I'm almost finished with Up the Pineapples. I've gotten all the stuff I want in there, now it's wait and see if there's any feedback time. If not, I will tidy it up and call it done.

I know the main melody, how the song goes, because I've recorded myself playing it a few times on various stuff and it's in my head, so unless I get amnesia or something I think I'm good. I spent a little over an hour on what I have so far. Actually, the last time I looked at the clock it was a little after 10p.m. Now it's almost midnight. Not that I care what time it is. Actually, I'd like to be awake in the morning and day and sleep at night. So I should be sleeping. But I woke up at about 3 p.m. because I couldn't make myself get up. I kept falling back asleep.
