The Jungle Book (NES)

Well, after searching for this title for like a million years (the other being Wario's Woods), I looked at the Goat Store and lo and behold, they had the Jungle Book. (Still have to search for Wario's Woods, though.) The main reason for wanting this game is because of its elaborate secret cheat system. All you have to do to access it is to go into the sound test and play sounds 40, 30, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15. I doubt anyone here has this game though (it's kind of rare). From there it goes to the cheat screen, where you can toggle lots of things, like level select, infinite lives, infinite health, not being able to fall through holes, etc. Another reason I wanted the NES version is because it was one of the last games released for the system. Wario's Woods is the very last one, released in December 1994. The system died a very slow death, kind of like the GBA (I have discovered my copy of High School Musical, one of the last titles for that system. Needless to say, I haven't played it.) I got as far as level 2 on the Jungle Book until i discovered i couldn't find the exit to it. So next time I play it, I'm going to start on level 3 and see what happens. I also got Spot Goes To Hollywood for the Sega Saturn, but my Saturn is in the pantry and I don't feel like hooking it up. You'd think you would be able to get a comprehensive list of NES games released in 1994, but all the different sites are in disagreement as to whether a game came out in January 1994 or December 1993. This of course differs from Nintendo's official list of every NES game with month and year (i.e. Alfred Chicken is on it as January 1994, while other sites say it came out in 1993.) Well, I guess that's it for today.

You probably already know of this site but just in case you don't NintendoAGE has a pretty extensive database of NES games and their information but the year for this title is unknown.

There was a HSM game for GBA? Oh..."Livin' the Dream" Yeah...I can imagine why that one has never seen your GBA.

Good luck on your search for Wario's Woods
