gedwyn
I would like to get an arcade machine for my game room. I was going to get a stand alone Defender machine but have started to think about some of the multigame machines. I know the Taget Midway one is not any good but was wondering about the Arcade Legends one. It is about $2,500. Looks pretty solid with expandability. Anybody know of any reviews or have any experience with this one?? Thanks in advance. Paul

The pc used in ultracade is a little wimpy. But the interface is nice. the expansion pacs are a bit expensive. ultracade is light years better than targets game. But there are people out ther buildng mame boxes for sale. If your deterred by legality of using the rom data, you might want to consider it. Also there are now 3 versions of ultracade. The orignal, the one currently sold in costco, and the one global vr is producing. Edited January 22, 2007 by mr.bill

chadtower
If you have $2500 to spend on a multigame machine, and cannot build your own (for a fraction of that cost, btw), I'm sure someone at the arcadecontrols.org forum would LOVE to build and sell you one for less than that price. And it will be tons better than Arcade Legends, too.
