Shawn
What's the point of having the rom when you can't run it in any emu? Because despite what some say building a Jag cart takes a whole 10 mins tops. So you can have a manufacturer make you a PCB, have a mail order deliver you chips and cart shells, have the labels and the prininting and testing and all that in 10 minutes? That is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY fast then. No I mean to recycle old carts. The new PCB, new shell route does take ALOT longer and is much more expensive. But as far as labels go they print out just as fast as the printer allows. I can get you die cut if you like but you will need to buy at least 500 sheets (about 6 labels on each page), other wise you gotta cut by hand. Shawn
And I got so many eproms it would make you sick.
Shawn
PCB would take about an hour or two tops to draw up but I got a friend that does that pcb layout stuff alot better than I do. EDIT: But I don't think making a new jag PCB would be worth while cause there isn't enough homebrew action on carts to justify even a little 100 board run with recycling being so easy to do and the fact that you would be crazy to invest in making new jag shells. Ok, so you do indeed understand the difference between a hobby and a real production of carts....scared me there for a minute.

+LS650
Because despite what some say building a Jag cart takes a whole 10 mins tops.I think there's a slight bit of exaggeration there... Ask the guys who released Iron Soldier Beta or FFL Beta if they could make carts in 10 minutes. It's more like 10 hours a piece!

It wouldn't take me 10 hours if both my arms where broken. And this isn't boasting either. A jag cart would take a novice a half hour at best to put together. If you are soldering the proms to the board only, then yes ten minutes. Adding label casing and test and boxed another 5-10(depending on how long you 'test' them.) It's not fun for one guy though when you need to do a run of them.
