Rom Hunter
Hi-res shots. Well... you can see the silverfish were busy on their 'winter vocation' Hey Rom - did you add those v-case games from post #693 Wondering what category you put them under? They are in the Taiwan - 2600 Compatible category, because these carts came in 2600 Compatible boxes: http://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=2&type=G&publisher=2244&step=200 Thanks for the Winter Vocation scan. It's Ski Hunt, right? http://www.atarimania.com/game-ski-hunt_s10543.html ah ok! I never realised there were v-cases in taiwan compatibles too! Yes, there are. In fact, most of the taiwanese V-cases came in 2600 Compatible boxes, but until I have proof I will keep them into the Taiwnan - V-Case category. nofrills100
Finally my stash of Omega has arrived. I almost flipped when i saw the size of the package - I thought the seller had jammed them all into some tiny box. But actually, I didn't reaslise, these are small cart size boxes. Time to add a new Company name to the database Rom. This cart also - belongs in the new category: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-32-games_18780.html I'm curious to know what other carts belong to OmegaVision? Rom Hunter
Added: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-asteroid-belt_12349.html Funny how the artwork is upside down, like the artwork on the Double-Game Package box: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-double-game-package-asteroid-belt-mariana_16364.html I'm pretty sure the artwork on the Suntek box is upside down too. Perhaps Marco can verify this. Here's the original artwork, btw: http://www.atarimania.com/game-asteroid-fire_s10534.html From Home Vision, of course. Well, only Walker left: http://www.atarimania.com/list_games_atari-2600-vcs-suntek-sunteck-co_publisher_70_2_G.html Thanks again, Duke! nofrills100
some new stuff. Haven't plugged them in yet. Need to do some research... anyone know what language that is? Taiwanese? What do they say? One is obviously part of the bitcorp 4in1 multicart series - love the cloud label;) Edited June 15, 2010 by nofrills100
nofrills100
some boxes for this one: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-8-games-fishing-frog-enduro-boxing-donkey-kong-river-raid-pac-man-soccer_20736.html I bought two different boxes, not knowing what games were in them - turns out they are exactly the same carts. Also what is weird is that the board doesn't fit the cartridge properly in both carts - see pic.
nofrills100
here's the cart label for the two identical 8 in 1's you already have it - but just so you can be sure it is the same one.
Rom Hunter
Added. Thanks! The funky Chinese carts will be added once I know more about the games.

Rom Hunter
A Home Vision proto? Something like this? http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-peter-penguin_11800.html If so, it's not really a proto. If not, I'm excited as well.

Rom Hunter
That sure sounds like a pre-release version. Home Vision started releasing titles in September 1983. Excellent find. Perhaps it's even different from the final version.

Omegamatrix
I've seen this circuit board before: I now have 3 square Frogger carts. All of mine are NTSC (I just dumped all the roms to double check). Not trying to give Iwan a heart attack here, but I took an razor blade to the one with the crappiest label to see if the circuit board had Parker Brothers printed on it. It didn't, but it's the same PCB as that Home Vision proto! So is there a Home Vision connection to these Frogger carts? Well read Eckhard's description of the casing here: http://home.arcor.de/estolberg/pictures/index.html Clicking the link you can see a picture of his PAL Frogger. Why mine are all NTSC is an oddity in itself... I think CPUWIZ has an NTSC one too, while the Duke has a PAL copy? Anyhow looks like mine is a pirate. nofrills100
if you are talking about making an offer before any bids are placed - yeah then I 'side dealed'. But going in after someone has paid and put their name to an item in my opinion is pretty low. I was refunded soon after that auction link was posted.
