djpubba
Looking for any of the following Vic 20 carts. For shipping, I'm in the USA. Paypal preferred, but not required. I collect loose carts primarily because I like to keep them out next to the system ready to play. So while I'll buy CIB and sealed games, I try not to pay too much extra for that because I end up opening sealed ones and taking the cart out and storing the boxes. When making my offers, I usually go by the rarity according to Digital Press. Nukey Shay
D'Fuse was never released (luckily, the programmer still had his copy for the archives). Cyclon exists only as a prototype. IIRC, there's only a couple of Dot Gobbler carts known to exist.
djpubba
Thanks for the info. That'll definitely explain why my eBay saved search hasn't hit any of those for a year. ;D
Mayhem
Funny, what's this Cyclon boxed and complete copy on my shelf (I've even had two further complete copies in my hands over the years to sell on) Actually a complete copy was recently sold by the seller mobm62 in Venezuela, he's had 2-3 over the years. Regarding both your Vic20 and C64 wants, I highly advise referencing against the lists at Digital Press if you haven't already. It's a bit of a plug but I'm the editor for both sections and they are kept pretty up to date with the latest discoveries and changes in information. There have been quite a few new and changed entries in the last year already... I do have a few of your C64 and Vic20 needs, would have been more earlier in the year but a couple of people bought a load of my R5-9 spares. I need to fully check what I still have, plus there is a gaming show in two weeks time, so I will want to take as much stuff to that as possible first... djpubba
Yeah I bid on that but didn't win. He had some other awesome Vic20 stuff. I did win a Gold Fever and a Ape Escape. I didn't bid high enough for the Cyclon, but that's okay because I don't like paying a premium for sealed games because I always open them. I'd rather pay less for already open or loose copies. I'll PM you in a couple weeks to see what you want to get rid of after the show! I'll also update my want list from Digital Press's lists, which are quite good. =)
Mayhem
Ward Shrake laid the excellent foundations of the Vic20 list, but there have been a LOT of changes since he retired and I took over proceedings. Many games that were in the rumour mill lists that have been proven to exist for example. I figure I need less than 20 carts now, but almost all of them are so rare it's stupid, some of them I have never seen offered for sale anywhere in over five years. Those rare titles that have come up I own because I've managed to win 99% of them... including a couple where I own the only known copy. Centallica
Hey I have most of the remaining carts that you're looking for on your list, but they'd come from my personal collection of 150 Vic-20 carts. In this situation, I would only sell ALL the ones you need (no cherry picking) at the prices you have listed to make it worth breaking up my collection for you. I would though sell the complete 150 carts at a better price if you wanted all 150 Here's the ones you need: Attack of the Mutant Camels $18 Battlezone $18 Black Hole $18 Cave-in $23 Computer War $12 Face Maker$7 Lode Runner $32 Mine Madness $40 Mobile Attack $75 Motocross/Tomac $40 Mutant Heard $12 Outworld $32 Pac-man $5 Pharaoh’s Curse $32 Polaris $23 Predator $18 Renaissance $32 Robin Hood/Lancelot $18 Seafox $40 Skyblazer $40 Spider City $23 Spikes Peak (alone) $23 Spills & Fills $18 Springer $40 Terraguard $12 Video Vermin $23 Videomania $12 I have pictures, but having resizing issues to get to 2MB right now... Email me if interested. I'm a Moderator at Denial Vic-20 forum and have Ebay references under "67nut" Brian If anyone wants the complete collection you can email me or the remainder/individuals (if this deal goes through only): centallica at yahoo dot com Edited December 9, 2008 by Centallica

djpubba
bump for update. So what's the deal with the OEM/Mr. Comput games? I've never seen one for sale. Are they homebrews?
Mayhem
They are all, almost without exception, very hard to find. I have five of them I think for the Vic20 but there's still a fair few I don't have. Not homebrew, well maybe in a sense. They were all produce of the typical bedroom coder(s) of the early 80s except they made the carts and packaging themselves I think. You know one when you see it due to the bright yellow rubbery like labels often used, and the spangly blue or black cartridge cases.
