SOLD Retro Duo Portable

Recommended Posts

I finished this one a couple months ago. Been putting it through its paces and it seems to be a pretty hardy unit! This portable is based off the Retro Duo Console, not two separate NES and SNES.

Work Log

Final Specs

* 4.2 Hours of battery life (based on SNES playing if I remember correctly)

* 2 Hour charge time

* Plays NES and SNES games

* Rubber tacts that feel like a normal controller

* Stereo Sound with Headphone jack

* Second player Port

* Dimensions 9 3/8" x 5 1/8" x 1 5/8"

* Solid Mahogany and Curled Maple Casing

Comes with a charger. The only issue with the portable is that when in SNES mode there are some faint lines on the screen. Most people never notice them until I point it out to them. This seems to be a common problem with Retro Duos. NES mode is fine. The lines do not come up in the pictures. I personally do not find them distracting or even notice them while playing the game.

Price will be $450+ shipping. Will ship international. Paypal or Money Order accepted.

Is this compatible with the RetroUSB PowerPak or Tototek SNES flash carts?? If so I will buy it!

According to this post here it is.

edit// Looking at some other sites some say it is some say there are some slight issues with the PowerPak. I wish I had a PowerPak now for you know testing :rolling:

I can see if my local game store has one. I doubt they will though.
