Crazy Climber
Glib $300 JC just sold this copy to the seller for $285 I remember that, I still can't belive it took that long to sell. I think he even dropped the price on it once. I still think it's worth more but I guess it's only worth what people will pay right

Buyatari
@ CPUWIZ - would you pay $2k for an unconfirmed NTSC copy of Asterix? Only if the N sticker was present. Where is the N sticker on the cart or on the box? Is yours shrinkwrapped? Is that N under the wrap?
hhwolfman
Personally, I'd prefer to pick up better copies of most of those games and pay a little more. I did and I won't ever regret it. For that lot combined, I think I paid about 4K, minimum. Yeah but, but we aren't wealthy millionaires like you.

Greg2600
Wow, over $2000, that's insane. About 2000 other things I'd rather do with $2000.

Mayhem
I still remember when Steve handed the first one over for $150 at CGE. I was there; it was my friend buying it. How times (and prices) change heh...
Chickybaby
Wow, this thread and watching that lot price is just fricking incredible. You guys are amazing. I think if I had that much cash to spend I would want nicer boxes for the price . Would it be "cheaper" to try and pick those up individually at this point though if you could get them? eskobar
I am not sure, but maybe the guy used one of his own account to sell the games at higher price or someone reported him on ebay :S Bummer
Frostbite Bailey
I made him an offer he could not refuse! Figured it was time I got in on the side deal action. So, I screwed you all over I knew he was getting married and made him a generous offer that would help out with his upcoming wedding. They are on their way to me

Frostbite Bailey
Enough No, I was just bullshitting; only 8 minutes for a response, way to go Crazy Climber. I figured someone would get a kick out of that or totally pissed off:) I was guessing a response in under 10 minutes. You proved me right. I actually got the same meassge from Ebay this morning. Of course I was one off the early bidders; not that I would not have put in a bid at the end Cheers, FB Edited June 5, 2009 by Frostbite Bailey
homerwannabee
Why is it that when anything remotely rare goes up for auction that it gets taken down. Is someone making tons of side deals. Makes me tempted list something rare to see who is making these huge side deal offers.
hhwolfman
There was no side offer on this, it was taken down by ebay, for some reason.
Chickybaby
Someone tell them to list on CTCW - as long as the seller is legit they won't pull it!
