It goes to show that its usually best to list with a low opening price If people see your starting price at around $300, they'll just move on. Otherwiswe, list with a ridiculoiusly high opening price and hope you get a sucka Edited August 9, 2009 by Dino

MegaManFan
Holy crap on a stick, is that really what a loose Lochjaw goes for these days? I wonder if I paid that much for mine... I don't think I did. I got a manual with mine too. Time to pull this one out of the drawer and put it in a sealed bank vault!
Buyatari
why would 1 person bid 3 times?
Dino
why would 1 person bid 3 times? Probably because he had second (and third) thoughts as to his max. bid

Well, only one person bid on it so if you put a second one up for sale right now at $350....you may not get it. I think this is easily worthy of $350 myself though, but I'm not shopping for one so I guess it doesn't matter if I think it's worth that
Zwackery
why would 1 person bid 3 times? I know some people who use "bid stacking" as a way to psyche out any opposing bidders (i.e., "I'm really, really, really serious about winning this auction"), as well as a way to build a couple of test boundaries for people trying to bid the minimum increment and get something as cheaply as possible, but any serious bidder will drop a smash bid down that effectively ignores the bid stacking.
