BTW: I don't think it's a sham. A set up like this would be too original. You forgot the biggest one and really the only one that motivates someone to email a random seller they don't know. #1 Because you can't stand still while someone gets a killer deal and it isn't you. Now he has 3 of them. I don't get it either. He pays 2X or 3X what he has to one games he already has sometimes. Impatient? Perhaps his thinking is along these lines. If he pays 5k for a copy then are all the copies he owns now worth 5k? If this were stocks and not games you could say he just increased the value of his portfolio. I agree with Wiz. I'd rather have the Music Machine than all 3 of his copies of Atlantis 2. Now THAT one is nice ! We may never see another in that condition for sale again. I agree that $3625 seems a bit high for this. I would have said that would be about right on if it this auction had the docs. I understand that most of you look at this as a production box with just a sticker on it, but it is most likely a rare original box with a sticker on it. Gauntlet would go for way more then $3625, I think $5,000+ We may never see another in that condition for sale again. Unless someone in Mexico opens a huge box from Sparrow and finds 100 of them. I read somewhere on Digital Press that someone contacted Sparrow about what happened to the old stock. IIRC Sparrow said that all units that went unsold (in the religous bookstores)were returned and Sparrow destroyed them. That would make sense why the box is so damn rare. On an open auction, it would have gone for around $1500 to $1800 if Jose was not involved,IMO. I don't think Jose had the Box, Was it worth paying over 3k for a box, It was to Jose.
