Kurt_Woloch
DKInty - This is NOT the infamous Coleco cart, but a homebrew WIP that, sadly, looks unlikely to be finished. Still, all the gameplay is basically there, as are all four boards, and it looks and sounds great. If this were completed, it would be a strong contender for the best home port of DK on a pre-crash system. As with all the INTV homebrews I've logged this week, this was played via emulation using jzintv. That's very interesting. I didn't know until today that an alternate version of DK existed for the INTV. I tried to dig up some info on it and found some animated screenshots here, which look rather promising: http://www.rickandviv.net/index.php/intellivision-games-on-an-arcade-cabinet/donkey-kong/ So... you have that game? Is there anyway I can find a ROM image of it? It seems to be pretty well done from my judgment, except for the background graphics which aren't a huge improvement over the Coleco version, but I guess you can't do much better than that on the Intellivision. Ransom
I played Omega Race on the Colecovision for 40 minutes last night. I don't know how many games that was -- way too many. I was just doing lousy! Never broke 100K points. I don't know why I'm so "off" in the last week or so. I was on a streak, breaking my own records on so many games, and then...nothing. It's suddenly as though I've never played these games before now.

But hopefully Ax will be sending out the 7800/CV controllers he's making from NES Advantages soon, and we'll be able to have some two-player fun.
