ShinRyu05
do u like fighting games. my favorite is Capcom vs. Snk 2 on the ps2. whats yours?
Ze_ro
My favorite is probably Street Fighter Alpha 3. Although I've been a long-time fan of Samurai Showdown 2 as well. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is okay, but there's too much chaos for my tastes. --Zero
sdstuff64
My favs are Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Marvel vs Capcom 2. And I can't wait to play Capcom vs SNK 2 onlin on Xbox!It is going to be so cool!
Pie
KOF evolution on the DC is minty (I have yet to get it for the MVS), and Soul Calibre is pretty fun too. Hopefully Samurai Showdown will be arriving soon (for the MVS) so Ill get a chance to try that.
bigferret
Although I generally get a kick out of pretty much any fighting game, my absolute favorite at the moment is Garou, Mark of the Wolves for Dreamcast. It's a Dreamcast port of the SNK Neo Geo game and I love it with the original Sega ASCII stick. 2D SNK fighters kick ass.
Pie
2D SNK fighters kick ass. Indeed!
Malix
Tekken 3 for PS1 rocks. Soul caliber for dreamcast is nice as well.
JagMX
oh man, Soul Calibur is fukin kick ass. That game leaves any Tekken game in the dust MKI and MKII, M vs C 1&2, any wrestling game (dont know if you want to count wwf games in this category ) Ultra Vortek baybe for the Jag Xmen vs Street Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha 2&3, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Dead Or Alive 2&3..... Brian R.
Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive 2 on the Dreamcast. I like the weapons in Soul Calibur, but the fully interactive environments in DOA2 are even better. The only way Soul Calibur could get better, IMO, is if it had the kind of environments DOA2 has, then it would be PERFECT. As awesome as Soul Calibur is, you still get that feeling you're fighting on a tiny stage with a background, which is basically what it is. Mikau
i wish i wasnt horrible at fighting games! but heres my favorites: capcom vs snk 2 (on ps2, the gc version is weak) soul calibur alpha
z28in82
I love me some fighting games. I used to be a major Tekken person untill 4 came out but I agree Capcom vs SNK 2 is a killer game for the PS2, maybe the best fighter on the system. Ze_ro
I'm surprised someone mentioned Ultra Vortek... I was actually kind of disappointed with that one. It has great graphics, and some nice ideas, but the gameplay always seemed kinda choppy and odd. But then, this is coming from someone who liked (and still likes) Fight For Life... Dead Or Alive 2 I was also disappointed in. The game is amazing, I'll give it that... but somehow, it had no replay value for me. Once I had played through with all the characters, I just had no incentive to play it anymore (Even the boobies weren't enough... ) I used to be a HUGE fan of World Heroes! Then a while ago, I got a chance to play it again, but when I did, I couldn't find the magic that I once found in it I'm still not sure how it aged so badly for me, but I just can't get back into it anymore. Anyone remember Time Killers? --Zero

Ze_ro
Atari rushed a lot of Jaguar games, not the least of which was Fight For Life... I thought the gameplay was decent, but the "combos" were lame to be sure... I think Time Killers came out for the Genesis, but I could be wrong... chances are, the Genesis version is somehow worse than the arcade version. The main problem with this game is that the animation is quite awful. There's also the nasty tendency for matches to end in a decapitation after about 5 seconds... However, the severed arms are cool, and the characters are mostly cool (Rancid was always my favorite) --Zero
JagMX
haha dude, the first time i was introduced tothat game, the first thing isaw when i looked over at it was someone getting their arm cut off and i was laughing nonstop

IceCold
Anybody ever played the psx game thrill kill? I'm pretty sure it was banned or something though, so most have probably not played it. There is a reason why it was banned
Happy_Dude
At the moment Psychic force 2012 for DC. (Luuurve anime ) and the 3D dragonballZ style is pretty amusing/disorienting But I'll always go back to Street Fighter 2 on the snes. Or Mortal Kombat
King Atari
Well, I'm still playing the old fighting games (side scrollers), but if I had to choose some new ones, I guess some of the Tekken games. Anyone remember Virtua Fighter 2 for the Genesis? Not very 3D-ish, but I still like it.
