edintv
This is why I need to stay up later: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220915089437 I feel sick, someone got a Spiker for $60? No one feels sicker than me. I found this auction within minutes of it being listed. I had to contact the seller to ask if they'd ship to Canada and waited for about an hour. They finally responded and I got the message within five minutes of them answering me. While I was reading the message someone bought it. I missed this by a minute or less. If only the seller had let Canadians buy right off the bat I'd be able to sell this to someone here for a great price. I really hope it was someone here that got it. Why didnt you just use your 'special' weapon in a case like this where timing is everything?!?!?!?!?!?! It required immediate PayPal payment to execute the BIN. Just add Rev´s address to one of you shipping address on Ebay, I did that to send him some games.and works ok.

+cmart604
CIB Spiker. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130631974604 Not at that price and in that condition. That box makes me cry. I'd say $600-800 tops. (In fact I think I'd rather wait it out and get a better one.) Usually another one tends to pop up. Oh wait... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 11081033828

I noticed in the last picture he has a box protector around it. Any idea where I can get some of those?

I thought, "why in the world does this lot already have five bids and it's north of $125 already...oh wait, now I know" I'd like to see a better picture of it though. boxpressed
I'd really like to know if there was a BIN, but I don't think that there was. Is there any way of telling? Fushek
There was no BIN on the auction. I saw it before there were any bids ... otherwise, it would currently be residing in the completed listings graveyard

I saw it before there were any bids ... otherwise, it would currently be residing in the completed listings graveyard Lol! Exactly. I'm guessing the seller must not know what he has in his auction and now must be sh*tting his pants wondering why the hell his $75 auction is now ten times that. :o :rolling:
boxpressed
Someone should let the seller know to put that Spiker in a VERY safe place for the next week!
Fushek
Actually, once it hit 700, I messaged him on eBay and recommended that he add some other pictures of Spiker, cartridge, etc. and that was why it was selling for so much ... it'll be interesting to see if he does. SoulBlazer
Three Spikers? I'm aware of two, the original with the bad box and this new one hidden in the lot. Where's the third? Reminds me of that mother from last year who while cleaning her house found her kids old NES system and a few games for it, put it up on EBay looking to get a little money, and was shocked when it ended for thousands of dollars. I forgot the exact ending price, but it was due to her having a original print copy of Stadium Events which is a very rare game. That story made national news and after that people started digging through their attics and basements looking for similar items, which led to a sealed copy of Stadium Events selling for 40k (aperently) and the boxed copy of Air Raid turning up that Wonder bought.
