MFoolsRun
Grabbed a copy of Goldeneye and another yellow N64 controller. Passed on a few other N64 games, mostly sports, and one red and one neon-see-through-green controller which had bad sticks. Apparently I'm going to be the guy with the all yellow N64 controllers unless I can find a guide on fixing the sticks on others.

gulag picture radio
Parappa is my reason to keep a Playstation around! Love that game. The sequel "Um Jammer Lammy" is the same kind of game, but is a little easier in some requests - especially the "freestyling" aspect of the game. One thing that I found when I was running the Playstation in my arcade cab is that it's not a suitable "platform" for the game. Parappa really benefits from having all the controls under your fingers at all times. It's a more difficult game if you're slapping the buttons on a flat arcade control panel. There ya go... advice that will probably be of little help to anyone.
gulag picture radio
Awesome find on Dark Tower. In my whole thrifting career, I've only ever found one - adn Ihad to sell it when money was tight. I can't be too mad because I got $350.00 for it! EricDeLee
Found a Milton Bradley Dark Tower Game complete with the cardboard for the tower and everything else for $3.50! And no battery leakage in the tower! Great find!!! I found one a long time ago at a goodwill auction. I had to take a tub full of junk: stuff like McDonalds toys, and cars and golfballs. It cost me $2 or something like that. All I wanted was the Dark Tower game. Ended up selling it for around $300 on ebay. But I have another one in my closet now. Thanks to someone here! Hornpipe2
Kind of off topic, but it's still 'thrift finds'. I've been enjoying this Livejournal community recently: http://community.livejournal.com/thrifthorror/ It's called Thrift Shop Horrors. People bring cameras to thrift stores and post photos of the monstrosities they find, with commentary. Sometimes humorous.

TwinChargers
I think I got a good deal on some Genesis games. I got American Gladiators, Arcade Classics (the one with Centipede, Missile Command and Pong), Columns, Sonic Classics and Triple Play Gold Edition for a buck a piece. Unfortunately they are all loose, but I figured what the heck, why not?
