aftermac
Just picked up Kaboom, Defender, Joust 2600, Mrs. Pac-Man 7800, and a 7800 controller for $14.00 at an indoor flea market today. There were also a bunch of other commons that I already have. Finding Mrs. Pac-Man (the only 7800 game there) is convenient because I needed it for the multi-console Mrs. Pac-Man competition next month. shadow460
Grabbed up a StarFire Light Blaster for $8. Then I got to thinking...it's got to have come into the store with a game. I went back into Game X Change and sure enough, House of the Dead 2 was on the rack for $10. I picked it up as well. I half expected the StarFire had come in with Death Crimson OX, but I was wrong. Now I've got two DC light guns (the other is a Stinger) and two games: House of the Dead 2 and Death Crimson OX.
Rockin' Kat
I drove up to everett(1 hour 30minutes minimum each way) to pick up a broken Apple Multiple Scan 17 monitor(I'm going to be taking it in to get it serviced as it's cheaper than shipping one in....not to mention the others I found for sale online were crazy high prices before shipping even got factored in.). I ended up also taking two Macs, a bag full of SCSI drives... An unused portable CD/Mp3 CD player(which I gave to my girlfriend), an original Mac keyboard(1984, no keypad), and an Apple quicktake 100 camera in it too....and a working Apple 14" multiple Scan monitor. I also took a bunch of floppies full of Mac software. On the way back I stopped into a local used computer store and ended up picking up a NEC versa 486DX/50Mhz laptop. I found myself playing tankwars for several hours today..that and staring at the plaswarp.exe application that was on the harddrive... funky. Emehr
Weekend Goodwill score: Vader 2600 in the box with one controller Atari 400 in the box with power supply Not bad for $22! and they work! There was one let-down, though. I saw a 2600 Jr. box with tape on it and got excited. I slowly peeled the tape back, peeked inside and it was just two joysticks inside. Tease! EricDeLee
I grabbed 3 factory sealed Rule of Rose PS2 games today for $11 each They still go for around $30 or so on ebay, so I figured I'd grab them. I'll have to check the price on a few other games. I can grab stuff like Metal Slug Anthology PS2 and Harvest Moon Gamecube for $10 each... still factory sealed. Not sure what the prices are going for those games... but I'll have to check when I get home

Wickeycolumbus
yesterday at target i picked up the following: Super Smash Bros. Brawl $49.99 2 atari joystick keychains $6.48 each I was very suprised to find the atari key chains because i have never seen them there before. They are both cenepede and yar's revenge, so i only opened one. There were only two left that I saw, so i grabbed them right away. EDIT: I went to target again today, and i got another atari joystick for the same price, i asked if they had any more and they said no. I know that a lot of people dont like these keychain things, but they make the cutest 2600 joysticks! RickHarrisMaine
Hit a Hollywood video closing sale. Everything 70-80% off. Pretty picked over, but I got Star Wars: Jedi Outcast for the Cube, $4.00 Silent Hill 4 for PS2, also $4.00 Not too bad. Both loose, but I've already printed a cover for Silent Hill 4, and I'm looking for one for Jedi Outcast, seems like a fairly uncommon Cube game I guess.... shadow460
Hit a Hollywood closing sale myself, and they were even selling the store equipment! My wife and I grabbed eight or ten movies plus a Jampack 12 for the PS2 and more popcorn that you could imagine. The movies were $2 or $2 each, the Jampack was $1 and change, and the popcorn was 16 cents per bag. Not bad!
RickHarrisMaine
Had a nice little Goodwill find today Resident Evil 3 Dino Crisis 1 and 2 Danger Girl (I liked the cover art....) SRGilbert
Danger Girl (I liked the cover art....) Gee, I wonder why..... I passed over a grubby 6 switcher at Goodwill for $25, no controllers, just power supply. No label either. They also had a dozen or so 2600 carts in "the case" that were end-lable down so you couldn't see what they were. Eventually someone came to unlock the case and show me, of course they were all commons at $2 each, and when I was done, they put them back in the same way.
