+orpheuswaking
And what will it work with? APE? or? -Larry works well with AspeQt, working out the details to get it to fully work with APE. A lot of chipsets have issues with APE, so not sure if you will get it fully working. But AspeQt is just as easy to use

sloopy
so i have looked into it, talked to a couple other people and cant seem to figure out what the issue is with APE. I tried two different types of usb-ttl adaptors (both with FTDI chips, of different types), and had someone else try another, who like me only uses AspeQt, and they get the same thing as me... i tried my serial sio2pc and ape works fine for them... so i dunno... so bottom line, i cant seem to figure out why there is the issue with APE, but when connected via APE, it commonly pauses, gets a timeout and continues, but does seem to 'work'. under AspeQt tho, it runs fine, cruises along at 3x with no problems, and is useful :') if there is still interest in it, with just AspeQt support, i will work out the details and post a pre-order thread... and if i do make them, they will have a switch for RI/DSR for the /COMMAND line, and will have TX/RX LED's... sloopy.
