Yep... those CPC looks like jellyfishes but without legs :grin: so in A8 blues/cyan doesn't look right.

We should go for C64 ones:

But ZX and CPC has them in 2 different positions (up and down) so here I also invert the bottom one(s).

Also this way it looks much better colours and pixels vs the towers, I think...

José, I have to give you a lot of credit.

 

About 10 to 12 years ago, you used to come on here, showing off beautiful graphics, but then developers would say to you, "But what you're proposing isn't technically possible" or "that would be way too difficult to implement". You've then gone away, done your homework and know all the limitations and probably what is maybe technically possible, but difficult to achieve.

 

Years later, you've worked with a few developers who have then implemented your proposals and you have an impressive back-catalogue of implemented artistic achievements.

 

Now I can't say that these are just my words either. I had thought these words myself, but the late, great Jason Kelk also said the same words as what I was thinking about you. We met at a show in Wolverhampton, England and he was telling me how impressed he was with your efforts and contributions. Well done. You do some really get work on here.

Another one (now cannons seems to be good this colour(s) but also have those ZX and CPC unique gfxs lines on top (can be other/any colour(s), here I'm just using similar to CPCs ones) and bottom (cannot be other colour(s) because of PFs and PMGs orings):

Here's the other thing, I don't like the mines because they don't 'shine'/distinguish to gfxs:

Tried two ways (white and dark blue) but now way:

P.s.- Also going into ZX/CPC X (king of fence) instead of this (a sort of C64 mine/bomb) I don't like and turn into A8 PFs colours couldn't get any good looking results:

It just doesn't look good (even on ours blue(s) darker looking.
