WTB: Cuttle Cart 2

A search on this forum showed me that most go out for $200+ but less than 300.

Last one that I saw on Ebay went for $350.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1308078948381?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=130807894838&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

I guess that's a "bargain" compared to what the last Cuttle Cart 3 (INTV) went for:

Wow... well he got stiffed by pricing it at that then...

Not I didn't. I knew I could have gotten more for it but I wasn't looking to walk away with a profit; just to make back what I paid for it. I'm actually thinking of selling my CC3 as well. And if I do, I'll only be asking $150.

If you do, please consider my interest!

This is not directed to you lgallair this is generic rant.

I believe A LOT of people bought the CC3, 5 copies or more, just to resell it and this sucks.

If Shad didn't had ethics to follow it would be awesome if he could give us a list of all those "friends" we have here.

BTW: I'm getting tons of PMs and I'll post here. Don't expect making money out of me.

If you think you can get a better deal go for ebay and post an auction with reserve.

My offer is 200ish on the cart plus shipping on me.

Very honorable of you. I have a CC3 and I'd be ashamed to ask 3x what I paid for it, and especially in this "community." I guess if it went to bid (open auction on Ebay) with a REASONABLE (close to original price) starting price and then was bid higher, the "greed" wouldn't seem so chronic, as asking $450 outright, as the market would then determine the price. These weren't "cheap" to begin with, but it's obviously worthy of serious kudos to Chad Schell for selling them at a [relatively, relative to the scalpers'] low price, so he could obtain reasonable recompense for a stellar effort, yet the product could get into the hands of as many gamers as possible. The scalpers not only thwart this, but likely discourage further flashcart development; I know I'd be pissed to see hoarders profiteering from my work. I guess that's why you see "limit 2" on some stuff like the CFFA3000 for Apple II, for example.

Fair enough. I thought you'd bought it new, and given it originally sold for $200 new, and the general resale price was higher than that... you can see my thought process.
