Short Article on Atari 2600 Scammers

While a great idea seems the real intent was to find a public way to call out Todd. Can you explain exactly how Todd is 'scamming' 2600 owners?

I think you need to go visit Todd or something cause you seem obsessed with him. Mixing Halloween and Creepshow cart fakes intertwined with a story about 'possible' fake scores?

You def need to add Captain Awesome to your article just to come full circle..............

Make your blog actually useful and document the cartridge scammers - leave the other drama out...............

You insinuate too much, I was just using it as an example to show that it's not a new phenomenon, people lying in the realm of video games. I never once called Todd a scammer in there, I called him a liar, which is fact. I figured it was a tasty little opener, and then I didn't comment on it that much. Defend him all you want, but get his phallus out of your mouth for once. It's not my blog, either, and it's actually a website, I write for it occasionally doing game reviews and other things.

You didn't, so why would you expect anyone to do any different?

Umm, yeah I did, I linked that article to a conversation on this very forum that discusses why Todd Rogers' scores were in fact a lie, two of them at least, so go ahead with your counter evidence please or stop being a fanboy foot worshipping douche bag.

I suppose you missed school the day someone would have explained you the difference between opinion and fact, error and lie...

BTW: It was me who proved the Barnstorming score to be impossible. Just in case you missed that too.

Good, then you know full well you're an idiot.

Temper, temper.

What Thomas is saying is, the guy was obviously wrong about his score, but that doesn't make him a "liar" in the strict sense of the word. To lie, you have to be intentionally misinforming someone. We have no proof that the guy's claim was intentionally bogus. You may not buy his story about how "maybe" he played an unfinished prototype and didn't realize it, but your hunch is not sufficient proof that he lied, and therefore all you can call it is just that: a hunch.

Calling a hunch a "fact" often lands people in court. Calling a well-respected member of a forum an "idiot" often lands people on the banned list.
