VectorGamer
...it would've been a killer app This friggin' cartridge is so good it would've sold more ColecoVisions Best game on it is the hidden game Pac-Man Plus Would've been the best selling ColecoVision cartridge of all-time Time's yours
JamesD
or he would have received a cease and desist order
+nanochess
Not really, because he would have contacted Atari in time, and Atari would have seen the $$$ possibilites
Pixelboy
Not really, because he would have contacted Atari in time, and Atari would have seen the $$$ possibilites Right, and then AtariSoft would have released it on the ColecoVision. Although I don't think that it would have been released as Pac-Man Collection, since there was no such thing as the MegaCart back then, and creating it would have been cost-prohibitive in the early 80s. It's more likely it would have been released as three different carts (Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man and Pac-Man Plus).

youki
If AtariSoft would have release their own version, the colecovision would have already the best pacman at this time! Opcode version is great of course. But The AtariSoft version is really good too.
slab0meat
Better question is if Ghosts N Zombies was re-released in 2014.....
NIAD
People just can't recognize a joke when they see it anymore. I've noticed that it's getting a little rough around here as well and I haven't been my usual sarcastic self as much due to this.
BillyHW
The Pac-Man prototype is quite good also. It would have been the best early console/computer version of Pac-Man (not including the much improved Ms. Pac-Mans out there for various systems). Jordiway
Not sure how many ladybug carts Coleco sold but I'm sure Pac-Man would have sold more.
Manoau2002
Its too bad all of the Atarisoft prototypes were not officially released. They are all awesome. Galaxian and Jungle Hunt are both top 5 Colecovision titles in my opinion.
SKELETOR68
After getting my copy of Pac-Man Collection last year, I was blowen away at just how good the cart was and with Mrs Pac-Man included? I could not believe just how much was included on one Coleco Cart, now with Donkey Kong Arcade still waiten for a release date, hoping some time this year. ValkerieSilk
Totally... The Pac-Man Collection is unbelievably good, can't wait for the Donkey Kong Arcade. Gamester81 just did a review on Opcode Pac-Man Collection BTW... http://gamester81.com/pac-man-collection-for-the-colecovision-review/ After getting my copy of Pac-Man Collection last year, I was blowen away at just how good the cart was and with Mrs Pac-Man included? NIAD
Good review, but he should have shown the AtariSoft prototype of Pac-Man for the CV and he completely forgot to mention that a third game is included in PMC, which is Pac-Man Plus.... unless I missed him mentioning it. SKELETOR68
I agree with NIAD Pac-Man Plus should have been mentioned.
