Downloaded onto my nanopeb, worked great! Freaking awesome!

Transferred to my main system to run off of myarc 512 ramdisk, didn't like it- wiped out the ramdisk contents. Thought it might be because the ramdisk is at dsr 1000. Loaded onto conventional floppy and tried again - wiped out the disk. I'm betting it's because of my myarc dsqd controller, right?

It is using sector I/O in order to pack everything onto a 180K disk, so it's tied to the floppy disk format. But give me a few hours and I will post another version that loads ordinary files. That should work from a RAM disk.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Eat your heart out, C64 :) The Amiga boing ball was a great touch.

Edit: Used the cart version on my F18A system with Comcomp Mini PES and speech. Worked amazingly well.

Easter egg: Spacebar skips to the next demo section.

Edit 3: I'm bringing this to the VCFSE this Spring. Really. (As your friendly Atlanta Historical Computing Society representative.)

Here is a DSDD image with the individual files. If you copy them to the root directory of a RAM drive or hard drive it should work, but it's a lot of files.

By the way, the demo works well in the v01A 512K cart with Marc Hull's 74LS174 "start in the first bank" mod.

Great, but the mod should not be required since the image has headers in all banks. It should also work with a red cart or an ubergrom cart.

I was just trying it out for the first time to see if it worked as intended :). It does.

The sector I/O code should have worked fine from RAMDisk... on top of that, if sector I/O is not available it falls back to normal record access. The issue is somewhere else. :/

myarc 512 ramdisk

Hmm, well, for Horizon anyway. I have to admit I don't know how the Myarc RAMdisk works. Sorry for the trouble though!

If we're talking about the MEXP-1, here is some code: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/master/src/devices/bus/ti99_peb/myarcmem.cpp

How hard would it be to turn some of these into full fledged games? I noticed that Doom was in there (https://youtu.be/ZhSUhE03XFw?t=3m30s). Also, that one with the balls and the scrolling would make a good shooter (https://youtu.be/ZhSUhE03XFw?t=6m42s).

Just downloaded the DSDD dsk. Mcopied to my Myarc 512 set as DSK1. Flipped the switch to the 14mhz crystal and it ran GREAT! Very minimal lag when files are being accessed. Thank you again Rasmus, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

A doom style game would be sick!! And that scrolling one I first thought a 3dish version of Rasmus' Bouncy like that would be awesome but a shooter would be great too
