taintedlove
Here's my heavy sixer. 55603F. I got it off ebay broken for 5 dollars lol. fixed it in a jiffy. Edit: it has no channel select hole, and no channel select switch inside. I don't know if thats normal or not. BTW, you should make a webpage distinguishing the different types of Heavy Sixers out there. Edited December 5, 2007 by taintedlove
Omegamatrix
I have one of the the other heavy's. T 0012202 Says "Mfg. by Atari, Inc., Sunnyvale CA", and then says "Made in Taiwan" at the bottom. Has a channel A-B select slot, but no switch to select inside. Wester
List finally updated, thanks to everyone for posting. BTW, you should make a webpage distinguishing the different types of Heavy Sixers out there. I wouldn't know the first thing about making a website, plus how much content could there really be without getting into minute technical differences between models. Although it would be nice, I don't have the access to enough models to get very technical, or the electronic expertise.
RunnersDad
I have a Heavy Sixer SN'ed 78960L I know that this one is an original Heavy Sixer. But is there a difference in the Serial Numbers, like mine with a suffix of L vs. someone elses with a suffix of H. Is one rarer than the other? Thanks. RunnersDad
I also have 2 more.... T0071875 MFG. by Atari Inc., Sunnyvale, CA Although it says made in Taiwan?(white label) 81299817 Manufactured for Atari Inc. By Dimerco Electronics in Taiwan(Green Label)
Wester
Thanks for posting! In response to your question, the suffix letter is just to identify when it was made (or so we believe) I don't think that there's any difference as far as rarity. Also that green sticker unit may be a Light 6'er, does it have the rounded edges?

Wester
tremoloman2006, I've added yours to the list. ptol, any chance on getting a pic of yours? I went to add it to the list and it was already there, posted by Zonie on Sep 23, 2005. I don't think we've ever had two of the same #'s posted before. TunnelRunner
If you haven't read my other post i wanted to get a list going on 6'ers serial numbers to see who here has the oldest. I found out that it was going to be a little more difficult than that, seeing how nobody really knows what the suffix letter represents or what letters were used. So it was suggested that it might still be a decent idea if for no other reason than just to see what suffixes were used. Just post what the # on your 6'er is and any other pertinent info (i.e. Sears or Atari console, Taiwan made or anything other info you think would be useful). I will try to update daily and rearrange according to company and suffix letter. I will start the list in my second post with my own two that i currently have. Nice idea...but not new. Check out my web page (long overdue for update). I used to host the "Stella Registry" where you could submit your 2600 serial numbers. Heavies are noted as such. I suggested this to Keita Iida many years ago, they never did anything with it so I hosted it. You could also submit 7800 and 5200 s/ns. Folks still submit them occasionally, I save them. I knew it wasn't the first list to be made, but I thought it would be nice to have a list based here to easily keep track of and easily update. This is an ideal place for such a list because of the traffic here, as you could probably tell from the long list of Heavies we have accumulated. Feel free to take the info on our list and use it on your own if you want. Oops, my bad The S/N is 80835G Thanks, I'll update the list. By all means, friends, let's make AA the home of the Stella registry. Glad someone took up the cause. I just found the first few pages, there are a number of refs to Stella's Boneyard. Please add mine to the list here, and I'll forward the ones folks have submitted since my page was updated (the web host can't be reached, but the page is still up!). And while you're at it maybe AA can host PAM and MARIA s/ns as well. The ported 7800 is pretty much the 'heavy sixer' of it's day, agreed? Carry on, Wester. Good job!
