grimbasement
Here is a pic of my heavy sixer SN sticker. It is a paper sticker that seems to be covering a second sticker. As you can see I tried to lift the top sticker off, but I'm not THAT curious if you know what I mean. Wester
I think I'll start a new list for these ones that can't be removed to see the original sticker.

Red 5
I have 2 heavy sixers and will get the serial numbers when I get home. The reason I am writing now is because one of them I have opened and tried (unsuccessfully) to repair. That one has the Lot # and date you were speaking of earlier. It says: LOT #3 2/14/78 I will get the serial number when I get home. The reason I know the date is it is also my birthday. My 7th birthday to be exact. My poor sick heavy sixer with my birthday... 2600land
Mine is 855739T. Since I'm a newbie, I hardly have any idea what that means. Hope this helps. EDIT: Never mind. The label says it was made in Taiwan. Edited February 25, 2006 by 2600land
A.J. Franzman
Never mind. The label says it was made in Taiwan. 1024087 Pay no attention to where the label says it was made. The real difference between the heavy and light sixers is the shape (and weight) of the case casting. The term "Sunnyvale edition" used on the AA consoles page is incorrect and misleading. Scroll up to post #123 to see what a heavy sixer case looks like - notice the side top edges (wide moldings), lower front edge (wide molding slightly curved), and lower front corners (molding has large radius ending nearly vertical). Is yours the same?
2600land
Yes. The label on the bottom is green, though. Is that odd? Edited February 25, 2006 by 2600land
Christophero Sly
Yes. The label on the bottom is green, though. Is that odd? 1024242 Can you post some photos of the console and label?

As for my reading comprehension, I'm new here. I know you put a smilie on there, but I just wanted to clear that up.

Besides, if it's your console, you don't have to refer to your picture - you can compare your console to the pictures in the other post. Thanks, anyway. ChevyNo1
Hi, I'm new here and just picked up a completely sealed 6-switch, from what I'm reading here it most likely is a heavy sixer. It's got 1977 on the front of the carton, all '77's were heavy sixers right? I see no S/N on the box like my 4-switch carton. Thanks! - Doug
