+cmadruga
The yellow Fratelli has been getting smarter. While initially he was a little catatonic, he has since learned how to move around and will even stalk the player. However, he is still a little afraid of heights, and doesn't know how to draw his gun.
+cmadruga
Sound effects and background music added. The yellow Fratelli keeps getting smarter. Now he's got better stalking capability and also learned how to draw his gun. Edited June 14, 2020 by cmadruga

It sounds cool, but even better if you transpose the music data on channels 2 and 3 so you get bass + melody (no harmony) instead of bass + harmony (no melody).

So just to be clear... what you are suggesting is to make this: MUSIC C2 , G5 , C6 become this? MUSIC G5 , C6, -
carlsson
No, that would leave out the bass as long as you PLAY SIMPLE to make room for sound effects on what I assume is the third voice. If you use PLAY FULL the channels don't matter. Actually I'm not sure this particular music is optimal for in-game anyway, perhaps more a title music. goonies-chswitch.bas

It's also cool when played slightly faster (DATA 2).

skywaffle
Another World / Out of this world. That sounds like a heck of a project! The platforming / exploration parts seem doable, but I couldn't imagine trying to make the cinematics work.

With a good gfx artist I could be inspired to work a demo exploring some creative compromises. Edited July 24, 2020 by cmadruga
+Steve Jones
Oh right, I vaguely remembered it was a Delphine game, Flashback was sort of a sequel I think. Would love to see what you can do with this one.

Just seen a video, it seems a good candidate to fit the STIC limitations on sprites There are few enemies on the screen at the same time and they are greenish, so they could be rendered with a single sprite Look also to Organism It seems close to project firestarter and with graphics close to STIC capabilities Edited August 11, 2020 by artrag

+bhall408
When I first saw the draft inty graphics, it reminded me most of Xenophobe! (which is a good thing) Didn't know Firestart, but it looks cool.

Project Firestart is considered by many as the first true survival horror game by today's standards.
