Hello:

I find it very interesting and useful.

I have several computers (Mega, Falcon, ...) with their external SCSI hard drives.

I would like to recover the information on the microSD cards, since many files occupy more than 2 Mb. Is it compatible?

How could I buy one?

Thank you so much.

Muchas gracias.

  Ismael

I was using the latest pp driver with this and I'd get occasional bombs (3 or 4, I don't recall, possibly both) and I found out that using ICD Pro instead solved all my problems... Is that expected? I tried multiple SD cards and power supplies, to no avail.

The thing that got me experimenting was trying to play Monkey Island 1 with full voice soundtrack using ScummST - what were previously quite rare issues became very frequent, always occurring with scene changes (switching scenes or close-ups during conversations).

Any ideas? Not being able to easily write to the SD card from Windows is a bit of a pain... Either way, enjoying my ACSI2STM 🙂

The latest pp driver I have is from 2021, and works well.

No idea if there is a more recent version,

Sincerely I never used ICD Pro,

when I discovered the ICD partitions are not readable from Windows :)

How many space requires Monkey Island 1 with voices?

Probably you can delete all files of any partition of the demo image,

at your Windows PC,

and place only Monkey Island 1 with voices

taking the space of an entire partition

Hard to know what different versions of the PP driver are/do - The readme bundled with the driver says 2006-2021, so probably the same version. Indeed I have a whole partition for the one game as it's quite large (195MB). Crashy with the PP driver, works perfectly with ICD Pro. I also generally get infrequent crashes using the PP driver and have had none since switching to ICD Pro. I don't know if that's indicative of a bug in the PP driver code or an issue with my individual hardware (which seems unlikely given it works perfectly with ICD Pro, but who knows) - but I'd be interested in hearing the results of other people trying ScummST with a similar configuration.

Hard to know...

Send to me your current setup of ScummST with this installed game,

As intensive streaming load based game, Xenon 2 with music being played from HD works well with pp

I can try it during this weekend,

I am curious about the crash, and about ScummST (personally I never played it)

As friend Paul Westphal pointed: at Atari forum, the user "Real Larry" uploaded a 3D printed case model

--------------------------------------------

VicViper, your unit has been sent today,

You have a private message with the tracking number and additional information

I just did a search on Thingiverse and I'm not seeing this case.  Does anyone have the direct link?

thanks!

You have a message with the case designed by Real Larry,

I will add it to the first post... but I think it was designed for the

very first batches, that use a larger SD card holder
