Unfortunately, the release comes at a time when AtariAge has decided to remove all unlicensed arcade ports from the shop. What this means for the HSC or public repositories like the PlusStore remains to be seen.

What worries you here? As of now, the games will only be removed from the store. There was no talk about any ROMs. And since Albert is doing a sale, I don't think there was a C&D, because this would have made him stop immediately. Finally no Atari games seem to be affected, so somehow the company now called Atari seems to be involved. Whatever that means... :ponder:

Couple questions...

1) I see people are playing 1942 bB... however I do not see it on the list of playable HSC games.  Am I missing something?

2) Is Juno First crashing for everyone else when a game ends and you try to start the next game?  Mine goes to black screen.

1942 bB is still WIP, so it is in "Public ROMs/WIP/0-G/1942 bB/"

I just tested the PAL60 and NTSC version on my 4 switch 2600 PAL and it worked fine. Has your score been submitted to the HSC?

The score is submitting.  I am on my 4 switch Atari 2600 NTSC playing the NTSC version.  I just tried it again and it is consistent.  Game ends, can see the final score with a pulsing GAME OVER at the bottom that pulses about 5 times, and then screen goes black and it's unresponsive with power cycle being only option.

I changed the timing between sending the scores and requesting the online HSC list. @chad5200 can you try again.

Does this mean Juno First loads its high score table from the HSC list? Maybe I missed/forgot, but is this the first hacked game doing so?

@JeremiahK and @Just Jeff have allowed Blocks to be added to the PlusROM High Score Club.

Blocks is a highly addictive one or two-player version of Bejeweled for the 2600. The PlusROM HSC hack only sends the scores of the one player game variants to the online lists.

As always, PlusCart user can find the PAL50/NTSC version (PAL50 mode can be enabled by pushing right the left player's joystick as you load the ROM) in the PlusStore directory "Public ROMs\PlusROMs\High Score Club" or in "Recently Added ROMs" for the next few days.

The combined version can be played online in javatari.js. The ROM-file can also be played with Gopher2600, or the newest version of Stella.

"Spitfire Attack" has been modified for the PlusROM High Score Club. Thanks to the late Kurt Howe (@Nukey Shay) for the commented disassembly and SuperCharger hack.

Kurt Howe added a few bug fixes and new features to the original ROM (scanline jitter fix, swap flightstick for a regular stick, autofire mode, 7800 compatibility and switch the road to a river).

The original ROM used indexed reads from ZP RAM ( lda    ($80,X) ) to waste CPU cycles. Unfortunately this touched the PlusROM hotspots and might also touch the SC hotspots in Kurt's SC hack.

The source code with the PlusROM functions for the HSC backend can be found at the PlusROM example/hacks github repository here:

https://github.com/Al-Nafuur/PlusROM-Hacks/blob/main/High Score Club hacks/Spitfire Attack HSC/Spitfire Attack HSC.asm

As always, PlusCart user can find the PAL60 and NTSC versions in the PlusStore directory "Public ROMs/PlusROMs/High Score Club" or in "Recently Added ROMs" for the next few days.

@vhzc (Vladimir Zúñiga) has allowed Ninjish Guy in Low Res World RC3 to be added to the PlusROM High Score Club.

Ninjish Guy RC3 is one of the favorites of my kids (and maybe me too), so I added a PAL60 version to the HSC hack.

The disassembly code with the PlusROM functions for the HSC backend and the PAL60 colors can be found at the PlusROM example/hacks github repository here:

As always, PlusCart user can find the PAL60/NTSC version in the PlusStore directory "Public ROMs\PlusROMs\High Score Club" or in "Recently Added ROMs" for the next few days.

The NTSC version can be played online in javatari.js. The ROM-file can also be played with Gopher2600, or the newest version of Stella.

"MegaMania" has been modified for the PlusROM High Score Club. Thanks to the late Kurt Howe (@Nukey Shay) for the commented disassembly and SuperCharger hack.

I posted this in the original pluscart thread but @Al_Nafuur referred me to this one. I wanted to mention that Ninjish guy doesn't appear to send over the final score when you beat the game? I've tested it several times and the only way my scores are uploaded is when I end the game losing all of my hearts (lives). So that might need looked into? I've screen shots of the final score I can send along.

I've screen shots of the final score I can send along, but it might be hard to make them out given I was using my little 8" PVM when I was playing at the time so the scores are small and blurred together quite a bit on some of the digits.

@-^CrossBow^- I have uploaded a new version to the PlusStore that should send the final score too

"Freeway" has been modified for the PlusROM High Score Club. Only the scores of the first player are send to the online HSC list.

If you're successful in guiding your chicken through traffic at least 20 times in either Game Three or Game Seven, you can earn the virtual "Save the Chicken Foundation" patch.

The source code with the PlusROM functions for the HSC backend added can be found at the PlusROM example/hacks github repository here:
