Commando from C64 with Atari + VBXE sources, is it possible and how fast?

This kind of horizontal embossing effect is strange. It can't be explained by pixel blending logic alone since the overlay is solid and ANTIC's output is bi-level, it needs a relative delay between signals. The edges are also narrower than an ANTIC hires / SR pixel. It almost looks like there is a timing problem in VBXE.

@Peri Noid It's obvious that if you delete text, you won't be able to see it. In the documentation, he writes:

"When the no_trans bit in the VIDEO_CONTROL register is set, then neither of
OVERLAY color is not transparent in both graphics and mode
OVERLAY text (regardless of the state of the trans15 bit in the VIDEO_CONTROL register). "
