The first post has been updated with a bugfixed build of the game.

Thank you very much!

I do not have an USB programmer too.

Seen the ATR file, somebody provided already.

Would you be so kind and create an ATR file for the brand new version too? For some reason I have problems starting the maxflash studio.

Any help is welcome!

I do not have the programmer to program the cart directly, so I will need an ATR image to do it. Alas, I do not remember how to create an ATR image with the ROM using the atarimax software (atarimax programming studio or whatever it was called).

BTW...

All you need to do with an Atarimax ROM image, to create a flashing disk is

1. download MaxFlash Cartridge Studio

2. rename the filetype of your AtariMax ROM image from *.ROM to *.BIN

3. in Maxflash Cartridge Studio, select your ROM size from the submenu pictured (below)

4. select the *.BIN file you want to convert in the file dialogue box presented

5. save your flashing disk ATR in the save dialogue presented

And now we only need the maxflash type 42 of the OnEscape update - or was it already uploaded ?

I see $2A (42) in the CAR header -- for the updated/bugfixed file posted. So, I guess they are going with that type now -- for more compatibility.

Finally finished the game tonight

Story, Graphics, interface, and puzzles are all Top Notch!

The music is the most amazing music I have ever heard on the Atari

I also just finished the game. Gaming experience was absolutely marvelous. I smiled several times just because of the description of objects in the game.

A great addition to the ATARI 8 bit library.

I had to re-install the program. Now I was able to do it by myself.

Did you use the installer that I linked to above, or an installer you already had? Reason I ask is because I downloaded the installer I linked from his page (thinking it should be the latest version) to update my version (if needed). I found out his page is linking to verison 2.29, which is quite old. The version I was running is already 2.9. I always thought the latest version of MaxFlash Studio was supposed to be on his site at that location/link; but maybe there's some other link available? I have 4 versions in my file archives newer than 2.29. At this point, I'm wondering where I got these newer version: if they were from him directly or some other link or FTP site. I'm also wondering if there is a newer version than 2.9 (maybe not).

I know he provides download links, via email, when getting updates for APE software. I have version 3.0.13; but I'm not using his hardware anymore (sold it off); so I haven't needed to keep up with that; but I still use Maxflash Studio occasionally for this and that.

Errr...?! It sounds strange, but I don't remember. It wasn't yours. I think it was the installer from Atarimax?!

Sorry. It was something you do on the side.

Sure, I understand; as long as you got something working.

You can find out the version by going to the "Help" menu and selecting "About".
