Does Solar Storm have an end?

I noticed that there are imagic tshirts, presumably from a contest back in the day, saying "Solar Storm Survivor" on them. Does Solar Storm have an end? Or, like Atlantis, does it just keep going on forever with faster and faster enemies until it becomes impossible for a human to progress?

 

I don't tend to survive very long in this game - like maybe 1-2 minutes, so its a little hard for me to figure out for myself

I've played the game and never got that far.  I don't think it has an ending.

I clocked the score back in the day. It just keeps on going!! 

 

Bear in mind that those enemies that fire can only fire once!! So once they have shot you can sit under them and take them out in safety.
