Iconic ATARI fighting game?

So Sega has Virtua Fighter, Bandai Namco has Tekken, Capcom has Street Fighter, someone has Mortal Kombat…

 

if you could get a fighting game published by Atari to be their franchise fighter, which one would you pick to remake for the VCS?

I would probably pick Kasumi Ninja if I had to pick one.  The controls are garbage but I think it has charm and could be iconic if it did well.   
 

the other idea would be a 2-D fighter like Street Fighter 2 with all the Atari characters in it like Centipede, Zackary Graves, and Half Speed Pete.

To be honest, I think I'd prefer to see Ultra Vortek... I REALLY liked that game on the Jaguar, and would even like it totally unchanged, just with better graphics.
