Kirk_Johnston
You can back the Kickstarter here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pscd-games/alien-cat-2-nes-and-snes And you can try the SNES demo here: https://pscdgames.itch.io/alien-cat-2-snes Edited December 22, 2023 by Kirk_Johnston
+Biff Burgertime
Cool looks like it's really pushing the limits of the system. Just needs a little color math and Game Maker and c'mon you all know the words...

Wayler
Nonono, this is all wrong. They started out great with Alien Cat but the follow-up should be Aliens Cat and then come back again with Alien Cat 3. Now it's all so confusing. Oh well, I'm not nearly enough genuinely authentically interested in the SNES to back this one.

Kirk_Johnston
Looks like it's not going to make its kickstarter goal, but the developer has said the game is complete already, so hopefully they release it anyway and let any interested SNES owners enjoy it. Austin
Maybe a lesson not to make a game on a 16-bit generation console that looks like it could be done on an 8-bit generation one. The 8-bit look has a certain charm on modern machines, but doing it on a 16 or 32-bit era machine just feels lazy. Tanooki
Geez that game looks like a NES game, PCE hucard at best being generous and an early one at that. That really is dial it in lazy, no wonder if failed to hit the value. I mean if you're going to go that route, more detailed background tiles and sprites are really in order. Nothing to poppy, just nice detail sort of like old Zelda did on the system back in 92 would suffice. This looks like something iD software pooped out post-Commander Keen when the figured out VGA was the future and not 16 color EGA graphics.
