Really worth to have this version even if you already have the 2600 one. Highly recommended. I'll have to give Centipede 7800 a try. Looks like a decent arcade port
DhaemonX
My first post here. Galaga for the 7800. Excuse the wall we are turning this into our 80s/90s room den and we already got 80s style paint. Shag rug coming soon too.

I see you even have a lava lamp on the shelf!🙂 What color will the shag rug be? If I was going to do this, I would pick orange.

But I love that color idea, thanks!

I still have to finish my 'Music Room'*, lots of stuff to sort, and perhaps some needs to go. *Decided to call it this as I don't like 'man cave' and as it will be music and gaming and includ my guitar I thought Music Room was a better name.

bigfriendly
Nah, I'm playing on Stella. Loose carts will run you $50-$100 bucks on eBay. I had to switch the difficulty switch to wimp mode because the enemies were to fast. It's another one of those cool games that kind of gets lost in the shuffle.
Bixler
I played Robin Hood for the first time earlier today. Great fun, but very difficult—at least, for me.

It's a maze game that you can actually finish. It has 5 different mazes with the 5th containing 3 stationary enemies you must destroy in the center to beat the game. You only have your one life so you must pick up robot parts that are scattered in the maze to build more robots. You can drop a mine to destroy the monsters that are pursuing you throughout the maze. It's not nearly as simple as it sounds and I would read the manual (it's scanned online) so you will understand what is going on. I would also set the right difficulty to A which slows the monsters to half speed. It's REALLY hard when set to the default settings which in this game is the B setting. It took me a while to beat the game and that was set on the easier version with the monsters moving at half speed. It's a cool game:) Edited Thursday at 03:07 PM by bigfriendly 2
DhaemonX
So I just got Solaris off eBay yesterday. Another one that says it was tested and is working but it was filthy and wouldn't work. 5 q tips with 99% later I got it working. Anywho, I forgot how hard the game was. It kicked my ass. I have to download the manual for sure.

It's one of those games that almost seems unfair.

I'll play it on the Harmony. I've tried both via emulation and found them quite fun, so it is a nice one to own for sure. The other xonox double ender I have is Spike's peak and ghost Manor. I've played Spikes peak a few times and got to the 2nd stage. It seems like a poorly developed game to me, collision detection is awful. Saying that thou, it is definitely playable and quite addictive. Have not played Ghost Manor yet..
