I enjoy this one too.

If you've never played it make sure that you are in a patient mood as it demands precision to the point of aggravation. I find it similar to Miner 2049er in it's finicky pixel perfect play, but it's more like Miner 2049er x 10.

That aside, when you get the hang of it it's a good game.

I have the NTSC version, the PAL colours are dreadful.

Yes. The 'golden' bird is actually golden in the NTSC version.

Guide Mr. Do as he tries to harvest his orchard before the evil Badguys
can catch him. Quick! Mow a path to the cherries and start picking! But
watch out - here comes a Badguy! Throw your Power Ball to squelch him. But
another one is on the way, so run until your Power Ball comes back.
You're not completely defenseless, though. You can push apples on top
of the Badguys to quash their pursuit. Sometimes when you're not looking, a
Badguy changes into an Alphamonster. Don't let it near Mr. Do! Eliminate all
five Alphamonsters to spell E-X-T-R-A and win an extra Mr. Do!

4 difficulty levels using game select.

ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE GAME SYSTEM IS OFF BEFORE INSERTING OR REMOVING A CARTRIDGE.(unless you're using the 2600+)

Hell, I can't break 30K and I'm using a PS4 controller so I have smart bombs at the ready. What's the best anybody else has ever got on Stargate for the 2600?

31K 👀 Joking! This game is not easy. I’ll give it a go, and get back to you.

i'll just say on my emulator i gave up at 4000 points for the time being, not like i was mad at the game or anything, just felt like if i was to seriously tackle this, i would need to set aside dedicated time to really feel for it, and probably play Defender I more

also i can actually see why alien brigade is well liked... good game...

Yeh, it is good. I have only played it on the Atari evercade collection. I don't own it for the 7800, it's really expensive.

I've seen a boxed copy for £199/$257! Nam 1975 on the NEO-GEO is also good thou brutal. Very similar Operation Wolf style gameplay.

Pretty sure Atari hold the rights to Alien Brigade. Comes up when we talk.

Anyhow, I have been playing a selection of test carts today in preperation for release, some good games in there!

"Officer Kelly reporting for duty. Leaping Leprechauns!! If it isn't Harry
Hooligan...up to his old shenanigans. That blunderous hoodlum is robbing
Southwick's. And on a Sunday at that! C'mon then...lend a hand. We've got to
catch the krook, recover the loot and be careful to boot! Listen up! Don't
get KO'd by wild shopping carts, beachballs or biplanes. And get moving!
There's not a moment to lose!"

Love this game. Great pick up 'n play game if you only have 30 minutes or so to spare...

I need more practice to join 'The Billy Club' 35,000 or more.

Looking at getting my first Activision next.

Ideally keystone kapers. But, I've been looking at other avenues too...

Activision released a lot of good and bad games, and also Atari. Mix it up

No intellivision games in that stack.

Takes at least 6 months to sort out games for release.

These games we started formulating a list for at the beginning of the year.

Intellivision games naturally were talked about once Atari got the rights but it was an AOB bit of the regular 2600+ status meeting and was kind of a let's discuss it at a later date as we have a lot of irons in the fire at the moment.

It's very exciting for me to be a part of this, some very cool stuff coming. Unfortunately it takes a long time from inception to actually getting a product out. I wish we could churn out releases at a more rapid pace, but it is what it is.

Very cool, I didn't expect that Intelli games would even have been discussed!

Are you able to share how many carts will release in the next batch?

Fair enough, i'm just glad theres at least 1 retro platform that still exists akin to the Master System in brazil, except here theres actually cartridges so you could make a case that the 7800/2600 are less of a technicality there? Ah well either way my wallet thanks you Plaion/Atari, i am also curious since we mention Alien Brigade, how much would licensing Missing In Action and finishing that game be? I mean it would be cool to see what the game would've been like had it actually released in retail, i imagine the latter would be the hardest part though. And justifying the platforming sections /hj :D.

Otherwise i'm just hoping i wont be broke by the time the new drops happen. I could never forgive myself if i couldn't preorder a fine shooter...

Very nice! Your box looks to be in great shape too. Mine came with the black & white manual and a blue label cart.
Keep at it and you’ll join the Billy Club. It’s a fun game. Always in the rotation.

What, you don't think the likes of Atari and Plaion don't read every AA and social post and video regarding the 2600+?

Because we do and we act on them!

The day the acquisition was announced we talked, but like I said we are in the middle of a substantial roll out of new products that goes well into next year. It's not plausible to just insert intellivision stuff immediately.

To be clear that's it, I haven't thought about it any more regarding what it means to the 2600+ ( might be nothing in the end) and also I don't know anything about what Atari want to do with the acquisition outside of 2600+ stuff.

How many new carts will be announced in the next batch....more then the last batch.
